Founded in 2002, STEEL-INVEST LTD. has maintained a close partnership with DUTRADE CO. Following the liquidation of DUTRADE CO., our company took over its predecessor’s mission — to continue providing high-quality steel trading and processing services within the Hungarian market.
As the Hungarian metallurgy sector evolved, market competition intensified, and customer expectations shifted. Demand for small-volume orders and custom steel solutions grew significantly, while the required quality standards in commercial services also increased.
At STEEL-INVEST LTD., our operations are designed to fulfill customer orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. A well-organized inventory, a reliable logistics network, and strong supplier relationships enable us to meet the challenges of just-in-time delivery with confidence.
In the early 2000s, following models proven successful in leading industrial countries, Hungary’s first Steel Service Center was established in Dunaújváros. Located in the heart of the country, our high-standard service center offers:

- Cut-to-size sheet production tailored to customer specifications
